CCTV appeal

Dear Residents

We have had a spate of vehicle crime around Hurstwood and Shoreswood area. 

There has been a male offender caught on CCTV in the area trying car doors around 4am. The offender has not been identified at this stage and we are asking if anyone has CCTV of this male around that time on either 25/9/25 or 26/9/25 to please contact me on 65500@gmp.police.uk and send the CCTV footage.

If we are able to get a clearer image we may be able to identify him.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

As always try to make sure you lock your vehicles when leaving them and don't leave anything in your vehicle overnight. If you have keyless entry vehicles consider placing your keys in a faraday pouch or a metal container to block the RFID signals from your keys to prevent your car or the items in it being stolen.
